Tubber Time...AGAIN!

Troy and I affectionately call Camryn "our little lounger." She is forever slouched over, laying back or sinking down into whatever she is sitting in. At times it is quite cute, but at times it is quite NOT:( One of the places Cam Cam lounges best is the tubby. It is just one reason why we still have her in the infant tub, and the fact that we don't use quite so much water. My fear about putting her in the "big tub" is that she will go to do her famous lounge/slouch or sink and will hit her head, THUS the baby tub.

Tonight was no different as I laughed and said to myself, "let the lounging begin" as Camryn immediately turned herself sideways and propped up her feet.SOOOOO I fixed her to sit correctly. Next she sunk down and leaned way back, once again I corrected her. Last, but not least she was trying to scale the shower wall and get out, probably to go lounge elsewhere:)

Oh my, she makes me laugh so I took some more candids of her having fun in the tubber. Enjoy my little lounger!

Busy Mom's Bible

I was recently selected to receive and review a new Zondervan NIV "Busy Mom's Bible." I signed up and received it 2 weeks later. I opened the box to find a beautiful Italian leather duo-tone (in somewhat these colors!:) Bible. It is absolutely beautiful! One of the agreements to this free Bible is to write a review and link it to a site/blog. Here's my review.. I am keeping my word!
I was curious to discover the meaning behind the title"Busy Mom.."graced upon the cover of this Bible. I know that I am one of those and I know that reading my Bible sometimes gets lost in my daily activities.
Within the pages of God's Holy Word are small snip-its, intended for busy Mom's. I love that these snip-its are condensed so you can get right to the point, yet still have something to meditate on for the day.
There are sections of scripture and a connection to our children, followed by something to reflect upon and to include in prayer. Finally, there is a section titled "study" where you can journey to other related verses!
One of my favorite parts is the "word to take with today" Many times certain words seem to get stuck in my head and my mind ponders over them again and again. I sometimes end up spelling the word in my head, trying to use it in sentences or think about it's many meanings..really, I do do this, it's sometimes scary. I think this attention to a word is a great way to keep the scripture and teaching fresh in ones mind the whole day through.
I love my new Bible.

My Little Helper

Camryn is getting more curious about things around the house. She loves pulling out the dishracks and sitting on the door. She is still just scooting backwards on the floor, and occasionally pulls herself up to stand!

Happy Birthday Nana!

one of my favorite, most treasured pictures:)
Today Camryn and I met my Nana, Papa, Aunt Jenny and Hudson at Red Lobster to celebrate Nana's 74th birthday! Happy Birthday Nana!

As long as I can remember, my Nana has always been very special to me and holds a very dear place in my heart. I remember spending days, nights, and holidays too at her house...many of my favorite memories are with her or at her house. I always thought she smelled the sweetest, had the softest, most beautiful skin, best cooking, warmest cuddles and kindest words. It was my brother whom she had to paddle all the time! She is a very caring, loving, and giving person that has impacted me greatly! When we found out we were having a girl there was no doubt that she would have the middle name that Nana and I share! I tried to find a way to incorporate Millie too, but just couldn't make it sound right:) Happy Birthday to my best Nana! Love you!!
