Laughing Camryn

Please disregard me sounding like an idiot in this video...but watch sweet Camryn laugh and just maybe you will get a peek at her top teeth! :)

Video

Camryn has been making funny faces and noises recently when we talk to her. One of our favorites is when she sticks her bottom lip over her top lip, like an old grandpa w/ no teeth. When she does that, we call her "Pappy" and she laughs. We took two videos of her while she was eating...

First Snow take 2

We took Camryn out again in her sled, this time when it wasn't snowing in her face and she liked it much better! Her face looks so chubby all bundled up...hey, she finally looks a little like Mommy! Of course Daddy was the best "puller" ever and was getting Camryn to grin ear to ear...even getting bundled up! She typically hates getting layers on, but when Daddy does it..it's not so bad. Check out the one pic of her face...you can see one of her top toofers!!

In Memory of My Dear Uncle Jr.

This past Thursday, my uncle and godfather passed away after a long battle with cancer. I am so very saddened by this loss but thankful to know that a few short weeks before he passed he accepted Christ. It makes me happy to know that we will be reunited again someday. I am also very fortunate that he could meet his great niece, my daughter Camryn. I will forever cherish memories made with him! I love you Uncle Jr.

First Snow

We took Camryn outside for about 56 seconds to enjoy her first snowfall. She liked being in the sled, but wasn't a huge fan of the snow blowing in her face. We plan on taking her out again after the snow is done falling, hopefully then she'll be able to enjoy it more and wipe the "I hate winter" look off her face.

Little Stinker

With a new tooth breaking through on the top of Camryn's mouth, she's been a drooling champion the past few days. She is handling it pretty well, with only occasionally fussiness. She is babbling and talking more and more, which is really fun to hear. Her diet is changing as she is now experimenting with more solid foods. It is a blast to feed her, but her poop definitely smells way worse than when she was strictly drinking breast milk. For example, today, she made me (Troy) gag before I got her diaper off!

With soccer season over, I am getting home sooner and enjoying being around to help Bethany. Enjoy the pictures below....

testing out the big bed

Wow..it's been some time now since I posted! We have been super busy since Thanksgiving and finally are back into a normal schedule! The reason for my long absence was the fact that both Messiah's Men's and Women's Soccer Teams made the final four held in San Antonio, TX. After much discussion we decided to make the trip as a family! We flew out last Wednesday and returned home Sunday..but not empty handed! Both teams WON the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP and our whole family witnessed it! Let me tell you, traveling with an infant is not east stuff and should both teams make it again next year..Camryn is headed to a weekend with one of her sets of grandparents!:) I must say..she was very good considering her age and the fact that we took her everywhere!! She was certainly a trooper! Our hotel was a few steps away from the Alamo and we had good intentions to get there but never really did:( I was planning on Texas being warm and maybe getting a chance to take Camryn swimming but no such luck.....it was FREEZING! Literally it was 30 degrees for almost every game..ugh. I was so bus, I found it even hard to take pictures! One thing is for sure...we didn't' leave Texas without a cowgirl hat for Camryn!
