"No" is changing my life

I find myself dishing out the word no far too often these days. Camryn has started to get into the habit of either smiling when I say no or yelling/babbling back to me (see video)

Hence, the word "no" is changing my life...

Strawberry Queen

This girl can HOUSE strawberries! We always save them until last or nothing else gets eaten. She flails her arms and kicks her legs when she catches sight of them!!

That Other Little Girl

Camryn LOVES looking at the garbage can to her reflection - although, I think she may think that someone friendly is on the other end. She often time kisses her reflection. She will literally spend 10 minutes parked next to the trash can looking at someone she doesn't know is herself:)

A Day at Grandma and Grandpa's

Thursday we spent the day with Grandma and Grandpa Orendo. Camryn played, ate a good lunch, scoured the pond, played with Starbuck(the cat), traded hats with Grandpa, almost went on a tractor ride (but chickened out:), and soaked up the love. Here are my favorite pictures from the day!

SOOO BIG...

Camryn is really playing lately, as in intentionally playing. Previous play was slinging objects here and there and of course stuffing everything in her mouth. We got her a little kitchen that she loves! She can open the refrigerator, turn a light switch on and off, push the toast in the toaster down, etc! It's fun to see her really understanding things and having fun playing. She also waves to "hi", claps, does "so big", puts things up to my mouth for me to "taste",stands by herself at her walker, gets close to examine objects and faces through holes in toys, and my favorite...snorts like a pug. I need to get that one on video- just wait, it's coming!

Bubble FuN with Daddy

Camryn loves bubbles..these were in her Easter basket. We were pushing bedtime here, hence the thumb in the mouth! Who knew something as simple as bubbles could bring such joy!!
