NAPPING!!!!!!!!
Camryn in the past two days has taken more naps than in her whole life here on Earth! She is such a great night sleeper, but I was having some trouble getting her to nap! Today she has napped after every feeding without a cry..I think she's coming around..its' taken a little patience and persistence on our part, but I think she is finally getting it...and oh, what a different baby. Not that she was ever bad, but I am realizing now how sleep makes a difference! I guess that's true for all of us! All her naps were especially great today for today is Troy and my 5 year anniversary! We're spending the day enjoying our family and even a little alone time...bliss! I love my husband so much! Happy Anniversary Honey!!!!!

Baby Blues
Camryn was so glad that Daddy is back from soccer camp..they spent some extra time cuddling on the deck this afternoon. You can see where she gets her beautiful blue eyes from...not Mommy. Everyone says she looks alot like Troy..maybe someday she'll have a little more Mommy in her! Once again, check out these "quirky Camryn faces!"

Another smile!
Well, it's that time of night...the time when one little girl becomes quite fussy..although I caught a smile in the midst of it! Goodnight!

Hawaiian? Nah........
Camryn and I went for a morning walk and came accross these wild flowers (no I didn't pick someone's prize possessions) I decided Camryn needed one in her hair for a picture..of course:)
I don't know why I always get these looks like "Come on Mom" I hope it's not a sign of things to come:)

Quirky Smiles
Today Daddy got his wisdom teeth out! ouch! Troy's parents came to stay with us just in case Troy had a rough go of it! They stayed with Camryn while I took Troy to the surgeons. I am happy to report that Troy is doing wonderful and is following all the Dr's instructions:) Deb, Troy's mom bought Camryn this purple dress and we had to get it on her before she outgrows it (it's a newborn:) While wearing her cute dress I caught some of her quirky smiles. We affectionately call her the "girl of many faces." Here's some smiles to brighten your day..it sure does ours!

Polka Dot Sweater
Camryn is loving her new polka dot sweater on these past couple cool Summer mornings. Here she is..early morning sunlight, just hanging out. She is getting so long and is now in 3 month clothing! She is losing her "newborn" look! After I feed her I have to heave her up to my shoulder to burp her...she seems so much heavier. Everyone told me that the time would go quickly but it's amazing just how quickly it has gone! She continues to be a dream baby! Have a wonderful day! We're sending hugs and kisses your way!

Bathtime Is Becoming More Enjoyable These Days
Camryn is beginning to love bath time. I think this new love stems from being able to be submerged in the water instead of suspended above it! She holds onto either Troy or my hand and is in pure bliss in the tub! Sometimes if she is fussy we even prolong bath time and splash and play and sing! Look at that belly!!
Sleeping Beauty
I have to brag about my little angelic sleeper! The past 2 nights Camryn has gone to bed around 9:30/10:00 and slept until 5:00 am!! I fed her and put her back down and she slept until 8:30---I woke up feeling like a new woman!!! Troy is done with camp tommorrow and we are looking forward to having him around a couple days again until the next camp!! Camryn has also been smiling and giggling! Both of which I am trying to capture on camera/video! Hopefully I can soon to share..it's the cutest!!! Here is our sleeping angel!!

Hudson Meets Camryn
This week while Troy was at Navy working a soccer camp, I stayed with my parents. Hudson had never met Camryn and was super excited to hold her. He was talking to her, tickling her feet, and saying how cute she was. He even washed his hands and climbed up on the couch eager to hold her. He loves babies! Here's some cute pictures....

A Sleeping Baby
Camryn is a great sleeper. Here's how to tell if she's really out.
See these arms above her head....yep, she's out.
I just love everything about her...right down to the way she sleeps.
Mam and Camryn
Mam and Pop came to visit Camryn today after Mam had therapy for her knee replacement. Camryn seems to be "good therapy" for Mam who is on the road to recovery! Camryn always seems to settle down in Mam's arms and was really studying Mam's face today:) Mam loves to cuddle as much as Camryn does! Thanks for coming to visit us Mam and Pop!!

1 Month Check-up!
Today Troy and I took Camryn to her 1 month check-up! To get right down to it..she now weighs 10.5 lbs and is 22.5 inches long. She is in the 90th percentile for both her height and weight and the 75th for her head. Daddy says she is a "big kid with a little head":) The Dr. said she looks great, so good news there. She has been sleeping longer stretches through the night...a real blessing to Mommy and Daddy! Everyday continues to be a gift with our little girl!!

Great Grandparents!
Camryn is fortunate to have some great grandparents still with us! Yesterday, the 4th of July, we visited with Nana and Papa Swanger. Camryn warmed up quickly and spent much of the visit content on Nana's lap. Papa even got a little smile out of her. .(you can kind of see in the picture!) Camryn is the first great grandchild on the Swanger side of the family. Nana and Papa even showered Camryn with some cute gifts! Thanks Nana and Papa, it was great to see you! xoxo

Swimming and Mam and Pop's
Camryn had her first swimming lesson at Mam and Pop's this week. And despite what the picture looks like, she really did like it! For those of you that are thinking how terrible a mother I am for having my child swimming at 3 weeks old...don't fret, she was "swimming" in warm water in her baby tubby. :) I think actually Mommy and Daddy wanted to see her in her "kini" more than anything:) Anyway, cousins Cole, Carter, Chloe and Cali were there to watch and give little splashes. Chloe was cute when she asked me why Camryn didn't want to go in the real big pool and matter of factly told me that you don't swim in bathtubs. Chloe is very caring and loves to be around Camryn, even though Camryn isn't much of a playmate right now. I have a feeling Chloe is going to be leader of the girl cousins club--watch out Cole, Carter and Samuel!! Enjoy the pictures!
